Tudományos érdeklődés:

A nyirokszöveti stromaelemek szervezõdése és szerepe a lymphoid sejtek elhelyezkedésének és funkciójának szabályozásában normál, kiméra és transzgenikus állatmodellekben.

A perifériás nyirokszövetekben az egyes vándorló-recirkuláló hemopoetikus (T és B lymphoid valamint myeloid) sejtek közismert csoportos elkülönülése (kompartmentalizációja) az õket befogadó mesenchymális mikrokörnyezet irányítása alatt áll. Ezen utóbbi komponens celluláris és molekuláris elemeinek azonosítására monoklonális antitesteket állítunk elõ, melyek által felismert sejtcsoportok funkcionális fejlõdéstani vizsgálata képezi munkánk fõ irányát. Vizsgálatainkban az elõállított ellenanyagok specificitásának molekuláris meghatározása mellett a mesenchymális sejtek közül elsõsorban a recirkulációban fontos endothel alcsoportok, marginális zóna makrofágok valamint a follikuláris dendritikus sejtek lymphocyta-interakcióinak jellemzésével foglalkozunk.
