Immunohistochemistry Catalog
CD15
Clone: E26-A
Cat#: DB 211
CD15 is a myelomonocytic antigen expressed by more than 95% of mature peripheral blood eosinophils and neutrophils and is present at
low density on circulating monocytes. In lymphoid tissue, CD15 reacts with Reed-Sternberg cells of Hodgkin's disease and with
granulocytes. However, CD15 reacts with few tissue macrophages and does not react with dendritic cells.
Fixed-embedded human Hodgkin's-lymphoma
CD163
Clone: K20-T
Cat#: DB 045
CD163 is present on all circulating monocytes and most tissue macrophages except those found in the mantle zone and germinal
centres of lymphoid follicles, interdigitating reticulum	cells	and	Langerhans cells. In addition, multi-nucleated cells within inflammatory lesions are reported not to express CD163 protein. It has been proposed
that a specific release mechanism of soluble CD163 antigen by human monocytes may play an important role in inflammatory processes.
Fixed-embedded human placenta
CD1a
Clone: L21-A
Cat#: DB 071
Langerhans cells, interdigitating dendritic cells and medullary thymocytes are labelled with this antibody.
Fixed-embedded human skin
CD20
Clone: E17-P
Cat#: DB 041
The CD20 antigen is expressed on normal and malignant human B cells and is thought to act as a receptor during B cell activation and
differentiation. This antibody intensely stains germinal center cells and B immunoblasts in lymphoid tissues.
Fixed-embedded human tonsil
CD205
Clone: R18-D
Cat#: 10090
CD205 (DEC-205) a C-type lectin of family of macrophage mannose receptors (MMR) is strongly expressed by myeloid dendritic cells and monocytes; weaker by B cells and very low by NK, plasmatoid DC, T cells, cortical epithelial cells. Immunohistochemical staining of C0205 in tissue sections allows the quantitative detection of antigen-presenting cells.
Fixed-embedded human colon cancer
CD21
Clone: Q22-S
Cat#: 10099
CD21 (CR2, EBV-receptor) is present on mature B cells and follicular dendritic cells (FDCs). This antibody can be used to demonstrate the FDC network in lymphoid tissue. This feature can be useful in examining tissue with germinal centre lesions resulted by disease processes, such as HIV infection, some neoplastic conditions, like 8-cell MALT lymphomas, mantle cell lymphoma, and some T cell lymphomas.
Fixed-embedded human Castleman lymphoma
CD23
Clone: E28-S
Cat#: DB 135
CD23 is strongly expressed on EBV transformed B lymphoblasts. The CD23 molecule is identical to the low affinity IgE receptor found on B cells. Expression of CD23 has been detected in neoplastic cells from cases of B cell CLL and some cases of centroblastic/centrocytic lymphoma.
Fixed-embedded human lymph node
CD3
Clone: N26-R
Cat#: 10088
CD3 (also known as T3 complex) is a multimeric protein complex composed of four polypeptide chains funct ioning as three pairs of dimers. It is a T cell co-receptor binding to the T cell receptor (TCR). Both TCR s and CD3 are specific features of cel l s belonging to the T cell lineage.
Fixed-embedded human colon cancer
CD31
Clone: JC-70
Cat#: 10107
The antibody strongly labels endothelial cells and is valuable for the demonstration of capillaries and neoplasms arising from endothelial cells.
Fixed-embedded human tissue
CD34
Clone: QBEND/10
Cat#: 10085
CD34 is a 110 kDa molecular weight glycoprotein present on the surface of hemopoietic cells (i. e. myeloid and lymphoid progenitors) and vascular endothelial cells.
Fixed-embedded human placenta
CD45
Clone: E19-G
Cat#: DB 042
CD45 antigen (LCA, leukocyta common antigen) is a family of five or more high molecular weight glycoproteins present on the surface of the majority of leukocytes (including lymphocytes, monocytes and eosinophils) but absent from erythrocytes and platelets.
Fixed-embedded human tonsil
CD45RB
Clone: PD/26
Cat#: 10124
This	CD45 isoform is expressed	by thymocytes,	peripheral B cells and a subpopulation of T cells at high and by dendritic cells and macrophages at low density.
CD45RO
Clone: uCHL-1
Cat#: 10109
Anti-CD45RO (T-Cell, Pan) antibody reacts with thymocytes and activated T-cells, but only on a subpopulation of resting T-cells. This antibody shows no reactivity with B-cells making it a good marker for T-cell tumors. Granulocytes and monocytes are also labelled with this antibody.
Fixed-embedded human lymphoid
CD5
Clone: A25-G
Cat#: DB 027
COS is a T-cell antigen also expressed by a range of neoplastic B-cells, e.g. B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL), B-cell small lymphocytic lymphoma (B-SLL), and mantle cell lymphoma. COS is expressed on T lymphocyte subsets and is modulated during cellular activation. COS does not react with granulocytes or monocytes.
Fixed-embedded human tonsil
CD57
Clone: NK-1
Cat#: 10111
CD57 is found on natural killer cells and CD8+ lymphocytes. These cells play a role in the rejection of grafts in acute graft versus host disease. The CD57 molecule is not expressed on erythrocytes or platelets.
CD68
Clone: KP1
Cat#: 10112
CD68 is expressed by monocytes, macrophages and myeloid cells. Immunodetectio n of this antigen is useful for detection of reactive macrophages in a wide variety of norma! and pathological conditions and for immunophenotyping of myeloid and histiocytic cells and their neoplastic equivalents.
CD7
Clone: C21-Q
Cat#: DB 114
CD7 antigen is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed on the surface of immature and mature T cells, and natural killer cells. While its precise function is not known, there is recent suggestion that the molecule functions as an Fc receptor for IgM. CD7 is the most consistently expressed T cell antigen in lymphoblastic lymphomas and leukaemias, and is therefore a useful marker in identification of such neoplastic proliferations.
